​After the application is approved, after ETPBR checks with your vet, and landlord if “applicable. “  Then we will schedule a meet and greet.  

If you choose to move forward after the meet and greet, we will schedule a home visit.

When you are ready, (this can be directly after the home visit) and everything goes great.  You can begin the 14 day trial adoption. The deposit, half of the adoption fee, is requested prior to the 14 day trial adoption.

 

During these two we are available for any support you might need in helping you and your pet adjust to their new environment and for the experience to be a success for everyone in the family.

 

At the end of the two week period, when all goes well,  if you choose to continue with the adoption, the second half of the fee will be required so the adoption can be finalized.

If within the 14 days the adoption does not work out for any reason, then your deposit will be refunded, the adoption agreement nullified and the dog returned to possession ETPBR.  We want to make sure that this works well for everyone and there's no undue stress should it not.

 

After the adoption is finalized we are here for any support you may need.  We love updates on our adopted dogs with their new families. East Tennessee Pit Bull Rescue will be here to support you through the life of the animal you choose to adopt.
